CAE analyst for automotive body & accoustics engineering
Description
ADVEA Engineering contracts body & accoustics engineers to several leading Original Equipment Manufacturers and Tier One suppliers.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate proven experience with CAE tools relating to vibro-acoustics such as Nastran, HyperMesh/HyperView, Akusmod, Actran, AutoSEA or VAOne.
The typical primary application role is to support analysis of requirements ranging from stiffness/mobility assessments, structure borne and airborne noise transfer functions (NTFs).
Specific skill-set
The successful applicant will have an awareness of alternative automotove body structural architectures and sound package design as well as knowledge of materials including metallic, adhesives and sound insulation treatments.
Knowledge of manufacturing requirements related to sheetmetal construction and sound package installations is also a requirement.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate a high level of problem resolution skills suitable for identifying the root cause behind engineering issues and must be able to select the optimal solution required to achieve targets.
Applications are accepted for all levels of interest from graduate engineers (strong background in CAE coursework essential) through to consumate professionals with 5+ years experience.
